Our savoir-faire
For 20 years, Laboratoire Revitacare has been commited to skin quality and authentic beauty thanks to a comprehensive approach to Aesthetics. This approach has led to a global offer including medical devices, sterile cosmetics and home skincare, resulting in a broad range of solutions to reach multiple targeted outcomes for every stakeholders of Aesthetic and Beauty domains: Medical Doctors, Beauticians and consumers.
Since 2003, Laboratoire Revitacare has developed in-depth knowledge and expertise on Hyaluronic Acid. Our savoir-faire enables advanced products based on different concentrations of different hyaluronic acids that can be combined with specific complexes of nutrients.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural disaccharide composed polymer (N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucuronic acid) present in numerous tissues of human body. Hyaluronic acid is the most abundant glycosaminoglycan of the skin, representig 50% of hyaluronic acid of human body. It is well accepted now that hyaluronic acid is a key molecule of skin physiology and an important molecule involved in the skin ageing process.
Hyaluronic acid is well-known for its highly hygroscopic properties retaining water 1000 times its own weight and thus its implication in skin quality maintenance.
Different molecular weights hyaluronic acid exist naturally in the body, and their physiological roles differ depending on the involved biological processes.
Laboratoire Revitacare's products ranges currently contain up to 4 hyaluronic acids whom different molecular weights and/or different chemical features allow specificities.
Hyaluronic acid-based products can be made of different grades of hyaluronic acid raw material: pharmaceutical grade, cosmetic grade, food grade, depending on the way of administration of the end products. Pharmaceutical grade is the injection grade with a high-purity of hyaluronic acid and a high stability. This grade allows the best safety standards suitable for pharmaceutical and medical products.
Laboratoire Revitacare's expertise consists also in the development of specific mix of molecules that are so-called complexes of ingredients.
Within time, Laboratoire Revitacare has developed different complexes depending on products indication and these complexes consist in ideal media to accompany hyaluronic acid to the targeted skin layer.
The class III injectable devices of CYTOCARE ® range includes a specific complex of 50 nutrients: the CT50. This mixture of nutrients (vitamins, amino acids, nucleotides, energy sources and minerals) provides some nutrients to support the normal function of the skin dermis when undergoing the ageing process and its damage. The CT50 contains amino acids - the building-blocks of proteins -(L-alanine, glutamine, valine, L-cysteine, glutamic acid, L-Arginine etc), vitamins B (B1/thiamine, B2/riboflavin, B3/Niacinamide, B5/Calcium panthotenate, B6/pyridoxine, B7/biotin, B9/folic acid, B12/cyanocobalamin), oligo-elements such as Magnesium, Zinc or Manganese, and energy sources such as D-glucose or sodium pyruvate.
The RHB Complex is an unique complex of nutrients present in the class III medical device HAIRCARE and the sterile cosmetic HAIRCARE C Line. The RHB complex contains essential amino acids such as L-Arginin, but also non-coding amino acids specifically selected for the hair and scalp such as L-Ornithine. Other types of nutrients are also composing the RHB complex including Zinc and vitamins B such as vitamin B3/Niacinamide/Nicotinamide, vitamin B5 salts calcium panthotenate, vitamin B8/Biotin or vitamin B12/Cyanocobalamine. For instance, Biotin is known to be a cofactor for the metabolism of glucose, amino acids and fatty acids which are essential for skin physiology. Among vitamins, Cyanocobalamine, the vitamin B12 is naturally pink-red colored which can give a slight pink hue to Haircare product.
The Micro-nutrient complex is a specific mix of Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE) and vitamin B5 included in the composition of the cosmetic product STRETCHCARE C Line. DMAE is an analog of the vitamin B choline naturally present in food such as sardines and anchovies. Vitamin B5 also named panthotenic acid is a precursor of co-enzyme A which is essential for protein, lipids and glucides metabolism.
The Age Defying CT43 complex® is a part of CYTOCARE 516 C Line and CYTOCARE 532 C Line formulae, composed of amino acids - the building blocks of proteins - such as glutamine, L-threonin, L-proline, etc, vitamins B, energy sources, minerals, etc. Among nutrients of the complex, Inositol is a natural compound of cellular membranes and widely used in cosmetics. Among different groups of vitamins, the group B is the most common used in skincare products as they are known to be cofactors involved in many cellular enzymatic reactions and to defy oxidative stress-induced skin damage during the ageing process. The Age Defying CT43 complex includes vitamins B such as B1/thiamine, B2/riboflavin, B6/pyridoxine, B8/D-biotin or B12/cyanocobalamine. Last but not least, minerals such as Magnesium and Zinc are also part of this mixture of nutrients, as well as other molecules like lipoic acid/thioctic acid. Lipoic acid role has been well described by Scientific Litterature as a key molecule for energy production in every cell types of the human body.
• The CELLUCARE C Line product contains the exclusive Nutrient Complex: Caffein which is well-known for its lipolytic properties, Manganese and Zinc that are minerals naturally present in human body and commonly used in various cosmetics.
• The so-called CT5 complex is an exclusive combination of five ingredients composing skincare range CYTOCARE PARIS in order to daily take care of the skin at home. Each ingredient of the CT5 complex can be in different quantities depending on the product and its expected outcomes. The CT complex contains the following molecules: Ectoin, Niacinamide, Anigozanthos Flavidus extract, Leontopodium Alpinium extract and carnosine.
• Ectoin or 1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2-methyl-4-pyrimidine carboxylic acid is a natural molecule known for protecting against osmotic stress.
• Niacinamide/ nicotinamide is the vitamin B3 well-known as a co factor in many anti-oxidant reactions.
• Leontopodium Alpinium or Edelweiss flower ingredient is an extract from the Alpine star/Edelweiss rare plant growing in the Alps.
• Anigozanthos Flavidus extract comes from a plant native to south-western Australian woodlands. Anigozanthos Flavidus can be also called Kangaroo Paw plant due to its uncommon shape.
• Carnosine is a dipeptide combining two amino acids: sequence β-alanine-histidine. This molecule is known for anti-oxidant activity and naturally present in numerous human organs.
