Patient Information About Your Implanted Device

This page is intended to provide useful information about the device that has been injected. It complements the information provided by your medical doctor, including the implant card, which enables traceability of the device used.

This information does not replace medical advice. For any question regarding your treatment, follow-up, or any potential undesirable side effect, please contact the medical doctor who performed the injection.

Implant Card: What is it for?

Your medical doctor has given you your personalized implant card because you have been injected with a REVITACARE implantable device. You must keep it and it is recommended to scan it to ensure preservation of information. The implant card consists of four pages and is folded. The first page is intended to be completed with your personal information. Inside the card, your medical doctor must affix the traceability label corresponding to the implanted device.

While not observed with CYTOCARE, other undesirable side effects have been observed with other products containing hyaluronic acids (cross-linked or not) or administered by similar methods:

Delayed inflammation signs: few weeks to few months (granuloma: small lump of fleshy tissue), tissue necrosis potentialy induced by vascular occlusion (pain, warmth, skin redness, or swelling at a wound, especially if the skin discoloration is spreading rapidly), vascular occlusion that may result in impairment of vision or blindness, seroma (abnormal swelling without visible blood coloration), compartment pressure problems and compartment syndrome (typical signs: pain, pallor, tingling, pulselessness, numbness).

You must inform the medical doctor as soon as possible if any undesirable side effect persists for longer than one week. The medical doctor must remedy it by an appropriate treatment. The distributor and/or manufacturer can be contacted at reclamation@revitacare.fr as soon as an undesirable side effect appairs.
